Goal: $15,000 to Dirt-Proof KCCG’s Multipurpose Room

KCCG’s multi-purpose room is a simple space that does a lot of heavy lifting. Each year it hosts dozens of educational workshops and community meetings.

It’s also the space where volunteers gather to assemble 50,000 seed packs, plant and germinate 160,000 greenhouse seedings, and sort and bundle other plant materials. These “dirty jobs” involve a LOT of water and soil.

With our greenhouse production growing each year, the carpet that’s in this space just can’t keep up. It’s time to replace it with flooring that can be easily cleaned as we flip the space from seeding days to workshop evenings.
